I was looking through my old blog's archives, and look what I found-

Back when we tied our laces together and hopped back to class-
"today after recess rachel, me n amanda tied our shoeslaces 2gether (again). looked stupid. sec3s and 4s were like staring at us like we're sec1 freaks ly that. amanda kept pulling...abt the same as wat happened during buddy session except tis time it only took 1 min to untie the laces instead of 1/2 hr"

Oh, how fun lessons used to be-
"during lessons we were playing this game where each of us had our own slang
mine was this china slang
amanda's was the queen of england slang
viola was french
vic and nat i cant really remember :D
then we had to speak like that for most of the day or else forfeit
thus we created new names that suited our nationality.then amanda and vic exchanged nametags to avoid confusion and during geog, wait.
MRS TAN-WONG IS BACK ! :)
okay then mrs tan-wong was like kinda...er...angry at vic for turning around and talking so muchso she asked her a question except she called her amanda cause she was wearing manda's nametag
hahaha
then we were laughing...and she found out!
except she wasnt even angry at all
she seemed like she was controlling her laughter or sth.
then i had to forfeit once, amanda twice and vic thrice cause we spoke singaporean slang by accident.
and the forfiet was supposed to be that we had to read to mr zahari a paragraph for every forfeit in our chosen slang
so amanda "volunteered" to read part of the poem during literature in her slang but then it didnt sound anything like it at all so it wasnt counted. haha"

Truth or Dare sessions after school, before CCAs and exams got in our way-
"we went to parkway and the shops were all closed so we played truth or dare =DD
hahaha first was vic, who had to go to the money changer .
she took out a ten cent coin i think, and asked how much she could exchange that in US dollars.
gosh
then the man went, er, we dont accept coins
we videoed it :D
i'll post it up soon, one day.
then i had to do truth
who's prettier, amanda or victoria

then we went to scoopz to get ice cream. we got cookies and cream (:
okay then amanda
like omg, she had to stand on the bench near the taxi stands and shout that, she's amanda and is the prettiest girl in the whole wide world
and she was eating her ice cream.
tsktsk
you know the way she eats, its like SLOBSLOB
LIKE DRINKING SOUP.
DISGUSTING."

And then,
"vic for her last dare
you know how border's opening where mph used to be?
ya like it's so obvious it's still under renovation
so vic went:[knock knock on the wall] why isn't borders opening? [knock knock some more] i love borders! why isnt it opening?? (then this man working there went through the door in borders and gave her a weird look)
then vic: knock on borders door. LET ME IN !I LOVE BORDERS !"

Is barely a tenth of my Sec 1 school life.
I'm amused, really.
I'm glad I've become much wiser, though

Though I'm horrified by my use of language back then.
No wonder I never got an A for English in Sec 1

I swear, I totally forgot about the Teacher-Parent conference with Huanglaoshi.
I honestly forgot.
So in the end,
He called my mum and complained about me

And now my mum's bugging me to study more more more Chinese
"Stop using the computer and go and study"
"Study Chinese la"
"You should have Chinese tuition twice a week from now on"
"Read more Chinese books"
"You should improve your Chinese"
